Elementary Physical Education (PE) Teacher

Roscoe Collegiate Elementary is currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Elementary Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our team. This position plays a key role in promoting the health, fitness, and overall well-being of our students. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging PE lessons aligned with state standards.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love of physical activity among students.
• Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all learners.
• Teach fundamental motor skills, fitness concepts, and game strategies.
• Plan and oversee activities for student fitness, recreational games, and sports units.
• Maintain and manage athletic equipment and ensure its proper use.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support school-wide events and initiatives.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents when necessary.
• Uphold and model the school’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Preferred:

• Valid Texas teaching certification in Physical Education or ability to obtain certification.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for teaching and working with children in grades K-5.
• Prior experience teaching PE in an elementary setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
