Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Certified Elementary Teacher (PK - 5) who is passionate about inspiring young learners. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in elementary education, a commitment to student success, and the ability to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans tailored to the needs of PK - 5 students.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic and social growth.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student achievement.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods and resources to enhance learning outcomes.
- Maintain open and proactive communication with parents regarding student progress and achievements.
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas teaching certification in Elementary Education (PK - 5).
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Knowledge of elementary curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment methods.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience teaching elementary students (PK - 5).
- Familiarity with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards.
- Professional development in elementary education or related areas.
