Hermleigh ISD is looking for a motivated 1st grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Certifications in ESL and early childhood education not required but encouraged or willing to obtain. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver TEKS based instruction to 1st grade students. The teacher will be expected to articulate and model a love of learning and to use instructional methods that emphasize higher-level thinking skills. Hermleigh ISD 1st grade classroom is self contained. Completion of the Texas Reading Academy is a plus but not required. It will need to be completed by the end of the 2025-2026 school year.
$450 contribution on insurance, per employee
