     Roscoe Collegiate ISD is looking for an energetic administrator who can effectively lead a team and serve as a liaison between the school district, online campus, and instructional service provider. The primany purpose of this position is to coordinate federal, state, and local compliance for the Lone Star Online Academy at Roscoe Virtual school. This individual will work collaboratively with Roscoe District and Stride/k12 to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of the program through compliance and reporting. This position is a 12- month employee and it is in-person.

  

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Edcuation Administration

Texas Principal or other appropriate Texas Certification

Advanced Education Leadership, Instructional Leadership, or Instructional Leadership Development 

 

Experience:

Two years of experience as a classroom teacher

Three years of experience in instructional leadership roles

 

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction

Ability to implement policy and procedures

Proficient in Excel and student data systems

Requires the ability to disply positive leadership and interpersonal skills.

Requires the ability to communicate, both orally and in writing.

Requires the ability to display effective conferencing and group dynamic skills.

 

Major Job Responsibilites:

Requires the ability to display knowledge of fedral, state, and local laws, rules, and policies governing all facets of the virtual school programs.

This position requires a strong background in data management and a deep understanding of education data collection and reporting requirements in the state of Texas.

Work in collaboration with school partners to meet all district, state, and federal requirements.

Work in collaboration with the RCISD and STRIDE/k12 to identify, develop, and submit all required reports or submissions as needed.

Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education Service Center, and local board policy.

Disseminating PEIMS - related information received from TEA and the Regional Education Service Center to school partners.

Ensure all student data is accurately entered into the district student information system.

Coordinate the collection, auditing, and reporting of district Public Education information system.

Establish timelines and distribute a calendar of events  of PEIMS-related deadlines for PEIMS submissions, capturing, processing, verifying, and reporting data to TEA.

Verify data submitted to TEA and submit corrections in a timely manner.

Submission of annual school board, region, and state documentation for compliance.

Stay up-to-date and provide training to local ans school staff on local and state reporting systems.

Assist with records requests from districts.

Manage team responsibility for PEIMS support associated with related systems platform applications, projects, daily workflow activities, data quality training, and records.

Supervise and evaluation the performance of assigned personel.

All other duties assigned.
