Knowlwdge/skills:
Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance and safety procedures
Knowledge of minor repair techniques and building and grounds maintenance
Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment
Responsibility and duties:
Maintain cleaning schedule
Keep school building and grounds neat and clean
Comply with local laws concerning cleaning supplies
Assist with lunchroom set up and moving furniture as directed
Perform preventative maintenance
Assist with opening and closing building each day
Follow established procedures for locking, checking and safeguarding facility
Working conditions:
Frequent walking, standing, climbing and heavy lifting. Working outside and inside. Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust and chemicals.
