Loraine School is looking to fill a PE/Health Teacher and Coaching Position for the 2024 - 2025 school year.
Certification: EC-12 PE; will consider alt cert programs and student teaching candidates
Loraine ISD is an EC-12 school with approximately 140 students and 38 total staff members. Loraine is located an hour west of Abilene on I-20, about 75 minutes north of San Angelo, and 30 minutes south of Snyder. Our adopted calendar for next year is a 4 day/5 day calender (every other Friday off).
We are seeking a teacher with a "kids-first" mentality and tech-savvy approach to student engagement and instruction. The right fit for our campus will be a professional who is willing to be a positive, team-player who embraces an instructional environment centered on intentional professional growth.

Housing available at discounted rate
$2,000 above state base + 10 extra days + Coaching stipends
5 State/5 Local days per year.
$325 per month towards insurance.
$100,000 Life Insurance Policy paid for by District.
