The role of the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is to plan and provide speech therapy services to students with communicaiton disorders.  The SLP may evaluate students to determine eligibility under WISD eligibility guidelines and provide the necessary therapeutic interventions to facilitate student progress in the educaitonal setting.  The SLP will attend ARD Committee meetings, write goals and PLAAFP statements for the IEP, report on progress each grading period and conduct re-evaluations as dictated by the student's IEP.
