The Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas Board is hiring for a Youth Success Advisor. This is a full-time regular position that will work on location at assigned school districts. Salary range is $3,700 to $4,000 per month, dependent on experience, plus a benefit package. Candidates will implement strategies to increase post-secondary education and training enrollment, retention, and completion rates for identified students from designated rural high schools by employing a case-management style to intrusive advising.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is required. Candidates must have at least two years of experience in career advising, social work, higher education, teaching, or other relevant experience. Travel throughout the region is required; however, overnight travel is minimal.
