Education/Certification:
Master's degree from accredited university
Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate
Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser
Experience:
Two years' exeperience as a classroom teacher
Two years' experience in instructional leadership roles
Job Summary
Oversee the campus in establishing an organized and positive, safe environment that meets the needs of all students and staff. This includes responsibilities such as: leading, directing, and supervising personnel and programs; creating effective parent, teacher, and student communications; and supporting, encouraging, and evaluating staff. The Principal will provide leadership and administration which will motivate instructional and supporting personnel to strive for superior performance so as to provide the best possible oppotunities for student growth and development, both educationally and personally.
