Position Overview:
Stamford ISD is seeking an innovative, dynamic, and student-centered leader for the position of Middle School/Secondary Principal. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of academic leadership, the ability to engage and inspire both students and staff, and a commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive school culture. The Principal will work closely with teachers, parents, and the community to ensure that Stamford Middle School and Stamford High School continue to provide an excellent education for all students.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management: Provide strong, visionary leadership for the middle and secondary schools, including academic and operational oversight. Promote a positive school culture focused on high expectations, growth, and student success.

Curriculum & Instruction: Oversee curriculum and instruction to ensure alignment with district goals, state standards, and best practices in teaching and learning. Support professional development for teachers to foster continuous improvement.

Student Achievement: Set high standards for student achievement, assess progress, and implement strategies to support academic growth and success for all students.

Staff Supervision: Supervise and evaluate faculty and staff, providing support and guidance to help them succeed in their roles. Foster a collaborative, positive work environment.

Community Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and the community. Communicate regularly and transparently to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and involved in the school’s activities.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure that the school meets all regulatory, safety, and district policy requirements. Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students and staff.
Qualifications:

Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.

Valid Texas Principal Certification or equivalent.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in school administration or leadership, preferably in middle school or secondary education.

Strong knowledge of curriculum design, instructional strategies, and assessment practices.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
