Head 6-Man Football Coach / Potential Athletic Director

Baird ISD is currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Head 6-Man Football Coach to lead our high school football program. This position may include additional responsibilities as Athletic Director, depending on qualifications and experience.

Position Type:

• Full-Time 12 month, salary negotiable based on experience
  
  
• Teaching Field: Open (some classroom duties)

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Head Coach for 6-Man High School Football
  
  
• Mentor student-athletes and promote academic and athletic success
  
  
• Build and maintain a positive culture and strong community support
  
  
• If selected for AD role: oversee all athletic programs, coordinate athletic schedules, manage compliance with UIL and district policies, and supervise coaching staff

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain)
  
  
• CDL (or willingness to obtain)
  
  
• Experience in 6-man football coaching strongly preferred
  
  
• Previous leadership or head coaching experience preferred
  
  
• Administrative certification preferred for AD consideration
  
  
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
