Occupational Therapist or COTA (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Qualification:

 Valid Texas license as an occupational therapist or COTA.  Experience in the school setting is preferred.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Identify students needing occupational therapy, in cooperation with district staff and assist in evaluating students for eligibility of OT services
• Provide direct interventions and consult services to students using a continuum of service delivery options
• Evaluate and Re-evaluate students
• Serve multiple districts and campuses
• Make referrals to other professionals
• Participate in parent/teacher conferences as appropriate
• Collect and report student performance data as needed by the Director for agency reports/SSP indicators
• Communicate and coordinate with outside agencies
• Complete daily logs of student services
• Contribute to the development of IEPs
• Complete service provider logs to document services provided to students
• Consult with teachers
• Other duties as assigned
