Jim Ned CISD is seek applications for a Director of College, Career and Technical Education. This will likely be a part time position that could be paired with teaching duties.
The primary purpose is the following:
Direct and manage district college, career and technology education program and facilities to meet student needs. Serve as instructional leader in development and improvement of instructional programs in career and technology education PK-12. Be knowledgeable of college and career preparation programs, preferably PK-12 programs.
Duties will include, but are not limited to, collaborating with postsecondary institutions, facilitating planning for CTE programs, ensure appropriate curriculum, provide career exploration and awareness, analyze critical needs, support college admissions testing, compile all required reports for CTE programming, support CTE program budgeting, and maintain a current inventory of CTE supplies and equipment.
This position supports a college and career-going culture and ensures graduates are fully ready for post-secondary success.
A Master's degree is preferred. T-TESS appraiser certification will be required.
