Lueders-Avoca ISD is seeking a Food Service Director, (Cafeteria Manager).
This person will manage the child nutrition operations of the district, plan and implement programs that meet regulatory and nutritional requirements for students, promote the development of sound nutritional practices, and maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
Certified Food Manager (Preferred)
twelve hours of food safety training (completed not more than five years prior to employee’s start date or within 30 days of employee’s start date)
Knowledge of menu planning, food purchasing, and preparation of foods in food service environment
Ability to implement policy and procedures
Ability to interpret data
Knowledge of methods, materials, equipment, and appliances used in food preparation
Knowledge of food handler safety
Ability to work cooperatively with other personnel
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Compensation based on experience and qualifications
