History teacher/assistant coach

secondary history teacher and possible coaching duties  

Position Overview: Rule ISD, a Class A school district located in Haskell County with an average class size of 10 students, is seeking an enthusiastic individual to serve as a history teacher and possibly coach. 

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree.
2. Valid Texas teaching certificate.
3. Previous experience coaching and/or administering athletic programs at the high school level.
4. A record of success in the clasroom. 
5. Effective communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
6. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with students and staff. 
7. Commitment to upholding Rule ISD's values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment.

Additional Information: Rule ISD emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and responsibility among its teaching team. Teaching field is history or social studies certification (two STAAR tests).  CDL license is a plus.  Stipends available and housing is potentially available.
