  • Provide professional development and technical assistance assistance related to program/student needs for all teachers and administrators in Region 14.
  • Provide leadership in the development of educational programs appropriate for a State and Federal guidelines related to position.


  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Texas Teachers Certificate with Bilingual or ESL Endorsement
  • 5 years successful teaching experience
  • Strong background working with Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)
  • Knowledge and skills appropriate for meeting program/student needs
  • Effective oral and written communication for the educational community
  • Proficiency using technology in the classroom
  • Experience presenting professional development to teachers
  • Bilingual skills preferred

Performance Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Plans and organizes professional development and/or on-site technical assistance for teachers and administrators.
  • Coordinates activities that enhance Bilingual/ESL/Title III knowledge and skills.
  • Evaluates the extent to which objectives have been met to determine future goals and objectives.
  • Disseminates information on curriculum, instructional practices, and materials related to Bilingual/ESL/Title III.
  • Models for teachers and administrators effective instructional practices.
  • Serve in a coordinating role to disseminate information for the program.  

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary -Dependent upon years of educational experience.

Position Details:

  • 209 Day Contract, Paygrade 2
  • Reemployment or termination contingent upon funding and/or evaluation of duties
  • Official start date: March 2019
