Teaching Field: Open (No PE) – Best Fit for District Needs

Roby CISD is currently accepting applications for a Head Softball Coach who will also serve as an Assistant Coach in the our Athletic Program. We are seeking a driven and passionate leader who can continue the tradition of excellence in athletics and help guide our student-athletes on and off the field.

Roby CISD has a strong foundation in girls athletics, with 4 state championships, including 3 in the past two years:

• 
   2023 Girls Track & Field – State Champions
• 
   2023 Girls Cross Country – State Champions
• 
   2024 Girls Cross Country – State Champions

Our athletic program continues to grow, and we are looking for someone who can contribute to that growth with energy, integrity, and a commitment to student success.

• Title: Head Softball Coach / Assistant Coach
• Teaching Field: Open to best fit (excluding PE)
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Start Date: 2025-2026 school year (or as soon as available)
• Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and district salary schedule

• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate (in applicable subject area)
• Coaching experience preferred, head coaching experience a plus
• Strong work ethic and commitment to athletic and academic excellence
• Ability to work collaboratively within the girls athletic program
• Positive role model and mentor for student-athletes

• We pay $2,000 above base.
• 5/4 hybrid calendar.
• Affordable school housing.
